HIRO Hajj 2025 1446 Situation Report Update Today June 20 2025

National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) is working well to turn all Nigerian pilgrims from Saudi Arabia by June 28, 2025. As of today, June 20, 2025, 6,528 pilgrims have already returned, with Max Air completing its 16th flight. While the return process is underway, there are some delays due to peak season air traffic congestion in Saudi Arabia, which is impacting the number of airport slots allocated to Nigeria, according to NAHCON. NAHCON is collaborating with State Pilgrims' Welfare Boards and air carriers to expedite the return process and ensure all pilgrims are back by the set deadline.
